Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, is pleased to announce that it is hosting eLearning Forum Asia 2008 (eLF2008) from 29-30 May, 2008. eLF2008 promises to be this year’s premier eLearning event in Singapore, for it aims to bring thought leaders, experts and practitioners together from all educational sectors who actively use and develop eLearning technologies to improve the teaching and learning experience of learners.
The theme of this year’s annual eLF2008 is: It’s A Small World After All. This small world has been made possible by the explosive growth of the Internet and the many exceptional educational opportunities now available to all users for exploration, discovery and interactivity. In an instant, for example, access to the vast geography that is the planet and its peoples has been reduced to a click. Within this vast symphony of user experiences resides eLearning, and the variety of transformations it has brought and is bringing to all aspects of the educational sector. Specifically then, eLF2008 will focus on two sets of instruments that comprise the eLearning section of the symphony: Online Pedagogy and the Role of Leadership.
Members of the educational community in the Asia Pacific are encouraged to join us, as we meet, share and deliberate on relevant topics currently impacting the development and advancement of the online blended learning narrative.
